What we do
Five settings. One standard of care.
Since 2001 we have turned exacting design intent into interiors and objects that belong to the vessel, the building, the aircraft, the vehicle and, ultimately, to the people who use them. Choose where your project lives.

Explore Specialist Vehicles →Where we work
Two workshops. One universal standard of excellence.
Most of our production happens at our Hemmant headquarters located in The Yard Brisbane, while our newest workshop at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron brings the same expertise to the heart of a vibrant sailing community.
Hemmant · Headquarters
The production workshop
A 1,000 m² enclosed workshop where large refit packages, new-build interiors, furniture and commercial joinery are made. Two CNC routers, two 3D laser scanners, panel and joinery machinery and our own spray booths sit alongside the bench skills of long-serving craftspeople and their apprentices.
Address
50 Barku Court, Hemmant QLD 4174
Best for
Manufacture, large refit packages, furniture, commercial and aviation joinery
Wherever the work is
A workshop that travels.
When a vessel cannot come to us, we go to it. Our own craftspeople deploy with their tools, prefabricated components and a supervisor, to shipyards, remote sites and vessels at sea, in Australia and overseas.
Prefabricated in Hemmant · Led by our own supervisors · Rotations planned for fresh, safe crews · Regular photo and progress reports

Port Macquarie, NSW
A rotating team on site for more than six months on a Commonwealth-commissioned defence vessel programme.
Onboard and at sea
Mischief, 54 m Baglietto
When the tide window meant the vessel had to leave the marina, our team stayed aboard for up to a week and kept the refit moving at sea.

How we work
A beautiful result and
a well-run project.
Some projects begin with detailed drawings. Others begin with a worklist, a problem or a rough idea. Either way, the path is the same.
01
Understand
We learn the brief, the vessel or building, the timing and who is responsible for what. We inspect or scan where it helps.
02
Resolve
Scope, materials and interfaces are agreed, tested with samples, models or full-size mock-ups before material is committed.
03
Make
Components are made in the workshop under controlled conditions, with regular progress reports and early word on anything we discover.
04
Install and hand over
Our own teams install, adjust and close out the work, then leave you with the information to care for it.
We carry out the work within our own expertise and coordinate engineering, electrical, mechanical and other specialist trades where the agreed scope calls for it. Responsibilities are set out at the start, so there are no surprises about who does what.
Services
Experience and Expertise.
Everything we make, mend and fit.
Choose a setting to see the work we do there. Many services cross over: the hands that shape a yacht saloon also build boardroom tables and aircraft cabinetry.
Full or partial interiors for new builds: cabinetry, linings, deckheads, doors, hatches and floors.
Interior renewal, careful removal and reinstatement of existing joinery and multi-zone refit programmes, led by us or delivered as specialist scope.
Everyday care, repairs and haul-out work from our workshop inside the RQYS marina at Manly.
New decks, replacement, repair and re-seaming, with planks and margin boards machined in our own workshop.
Investigation, removal to sound laminate, stepped reconstruction, fairing and a documented handover.
Hull preparation, antifouling, Propspeed and anodes, planned around your haul-out.
Planned care, varnish and finish repairs, fittings and presentation between seasons.
Exterior fairing and painting, carried out in enclosed hardstand areas at RQYS or in the spray booths at our Hemmant workshop.
Interior and exterior furniture, kept light where weight matters, with lighting, speakers and deck fittings built in.
Durable interiors and subcontract packages for vessel operators and shipbuilding programmes.
Joinery, furniture and fit-out packages made off site and installed to the builder's programme.
Cabinetry, panelling, doors and feature elements made precisely to the architect's drawings.
The first things a visitor touches and sees, made to carry the building's character.
Meeting rooms, cafe and breakout areas and customer-facing joinery built for daily use.
Learning spaces, teaching furniture and institutional cabinetry to the governing specification.
Tables, chairs, desks, beds and one-off pieces, designed with you and made by hand.
Joinery planned around everyday life, with considered hardware and continuity of material.
Fitted shelving, study furniture and entertaining joinery that belongs to the house around it.
Repair of structure, veneer, hardware and finish that respects the piece's established character.
Tables, storage, panels and doors made to approved drawings, weights and installation requirements.
Compact, precise galley cabinetry resolved with the approved designer and completion team.
Light substrates, veneers and composite parts where every kilogram and fixing counts.
Repair and refinishing coordinated with the responsible engineers and certification authorities.
Seating, cabinetry, work surfaces, lighting and water integrated into a working vehicle.
Cabin fit-out, furnishings and joinery for passenger journeys, installed at the depot.
Furniture for tight, moving spaces where access, fixings and repeated use shape every detail.
Repair, durable refinishing and faithful replication of worn or damaged components.
Existing spaces captured and modelled, so parts are resolved before timber is cut.
Full-size or partial mock-ups to test proportion, access and finish before manufacture.
Fabricated and composite components made alongside the joinery they connect to.
Controlled finishing in our in-house spray booths, from satin timber to high gloss.
Our own people install, adjust and hand over, across Australia and internationally.
